I can’t believe that this is the one year anniversary of my blog! I remember all of the nerves I felt just mentioning that I wanted start this. What to do? Where to start? I had so many questions. Well, momma we made it! Thank you for all of the visits and subscriptions. It means a lot that you find my clothing interesting. So, what’s next for Sew Sew Stacie??? For starters, I’m adding more content. I have fallen in love with my plants and fitness journey. We might as well talk about...right?! I will also be adding more sew-alongs on my YouTube channel, which is also named Sew Sew Stacie. Please follow and subscribe there, as well. That’s about it!
Now, about this dress. I adore the #sicilyslipdress by Masin. I found this Satin with crepe backing in olive green at Hobby Lobby. The way this fabric moves with my body is AMAZING. That probably explains why I have this fabric in eight colors. The only difficulty to this pattern is finding the space to cut the fabric on the bias. Once I conquered that task, the stitching was smooth sailing. The only thing I would do differently is add more length. Ladies, you need this pattern. I’ve even shortened it and made a camisol. The cowling of the neckline is everything to me!!! I feel like a goddess in this dress!
Last thing, you know if it’s my blog anniversary then it’s my birthday too! Give it up one time for the birthday chick! I will serve year 39 just fine! 💋
